KLON.ai is shutting down. Since late 2021, we've worked on identity, verification, and AI – pivoting from a Metaverse focus to a sharper narrative around trust, authenticity, and the rise of misinformation. We launched our token in June 2025 (sold out in 30 minutes) and released the Avatar Generator MVP in Q4 2025 alongside our personal AI direction.

Despite strong early interest, we didn't reach the adoption needed to operate at scale, and our recent financing round was unsuccessful. Given the market environment, shutting down is the responsible decision.

We still believe in the thesis: the internet needs a platform-independent way to verify identity and content – a tamper-resistant layer that helps people navigate deepfakes and the erosion of trust. And we believe the next step pairs verification with a personal agent that represents you, user-owned and controlled.
